Mark Williamson, CDT

Mark began his dental technology career in 1981 and became certified in complete dentures in 1997. He continues to enhance his skills through continued education courses, dental journals, study clubs, and training course participation such as those offered by Dr. Peter Dawson and Dr. Jack Turbyfill. Mark is also trained in the disciplines of Pankey, Staub Cranial, and Massad. His diverse training lends to his talents in crown & bridge as well as implant restorations.

When Mark is not spending time at the bench, he keeps himself involved in several peer groups. He is a current board member and president of the Illinois Dental Lab Association (IDLA), a member of the Cal-Lab Group. In addition, Mark acts as chairman of the Chicago-land Dental Technicians Study Group (CDTS), which was formed in 2002.

Mark and his wife, Allie, owned an operated Essex Dental Laboratory located in Lockport, IL, before joining the Ottawa Dental Lab family in 2007. When Mark isn’t working, he enjoys spending time at home with Allie, and three sons. Several of his hobbies include photography, cooking, camping, fishing and horseback riding.
